Patience is a virtue
There are not many sayings I believe in, but this just may be one I whole heartily understand.
To have patience, to embody patience and to become comfortable with the fact that something, or nothing will come from it.
Patience teaches you to reflect with self. Just when you think you have been patient enough, another layer is unlocked.
Patience is sitting with self, observing the emotions that arise when you must be still and not act, deepening into the root of those. Then repeating the process until you no longer have to be patient, because you have accepted all for it is, every outcome or possibility, it does not matter anymore - your journey through patience has you shown you your truth.
I have changed my mind, patience is more than virtue, it is a sacred practice that will teach you many lessons.
As you sit in patience you choose to accept that you will weave through emotions, much like the tide you weave back and forth between pulling away and going all in.
You realise everything is always changing - but if you choose to let go; then it cannot affect you.
